Special Events For Members
2021 and 2020 Events
Due to the pandemic, there were no Special Events for Members in 2021 or 2020 other than the Summer Supper on Saturday 8th August 2020, which was a variation on the normal annual BBQ.
2019 Events
Thursday 4th April – guided tour of Higham Ferrers. A walk around this small market town looking at its historic buildings including the parish church of St Mary the Virgin and 15th century Chichele College and Bede House.
Wednesday 26th June – Tour of Ely. Coach trip to the Fenland city of Ely, visiting the historic cathedral followed by a guided walk around the city and riverside.
Saturday 3rd August – Annual Barbecue.
2018 Events
Wednesday 27th June – Tour of King’s Lynn and True’s Yard Museum. Travel by coach.
Saturday 4th August – Annual Barbecue.
Tuesday 25th September – Guided tour of the Curve Theatre, Leicester.
