Conservation of Historic Buildings.

There are many examples of historic buildings conserved, restored, maintained – but what does this all entail? 

Justin Webber (Senior Building Conservation Officer at Leicester City Council) will give us an insight into answering the above question, with the mechanics of managing conservation areas, the legislation involved and its limitations. We shall also see the various aspects of how local government is involved in the way it deals with the built environment side.

Saltpond Fun Quiz Night and Buffet Supper in support of the Saltpond Education Project. Saturday 19th October 2024, 7:00pm, Lubenham Village Hall, Cost £12.50pp including buffet supper.

The Quix is fun and not taken too seriously! But we want to win!! There will be a licensed bar, raffle and cash prize for the winning team.

Such an event takes a lot of time and energy to organize, and is for such an excellent charity co-founded by Ian Burbidge, so please book a place via Barbara or Jim.
