There are many examples of historic buildings conserved, restored, maintained – but what does this all entail? Justin Webber (Senior Building Conservation Officer at Leicester City Council) will give us an insight into answering the above question, with the mechanics of managing conservation areas, the legislation involved and its limitations. We shall also see the various aspects of how local government is involved in the way it deals with the built environment side.
