The Survey pack contains the following sections

1. Index by Surname of the deceased
2. Index by graveyard section and grave number
3. Graveyard maps of the FIVE sections (A – E) Please note, Section D includes the Garden of Remembrance; Section E includes the Ring graves.
4. Detailed notes for each grave (each identifiable deceased is listed separately in each section in grave number order ).

Procedure

1. Use the Index by Surname to find the section and grave number.
2. Use the graveyard map (A – E) to find the location of the grave within the section.
3. Use the detailed notes for background and further information (these are indexed by
   section and grave number within each section)

Example

1. We are searching for someone called Clara Perkins.
2. First, we look up “Perkins” in the Index by Surname.
3. There are a lot of surnames called Perkins, but if we look at the column with first (Given) names, we soon find “Clara”.
4. If we look along Clara’s row to the right, we will see that she is in Section A, Grave No 11.
5. Now we can see where she is buried by looking at the Graveyard map for Section A. If we look at section A, we will find grave number 11, which is at the bottom right hand corner of the map.
6. If you would like more detailed information, look at the Detailed notes. These are contained in one of the five sections. Find section A and look for Grave 11. You will see this is Clara Perkins’ details.
