  • Our meeting on Tuesday 14th April at 7.30pm when Mike Burton shared with us the fascinating story of Stamford, Burghley House and Lord William Cecil, chief advisor to Queen Elizabeth I.
  • Our next talks:
    • Tuesday 12th May, when Keith Green will talk about his musical career, which has ranged from choir boy to organist, actor and musical director.
    • Tuesday 9th June, when Caroline Taylor explores the role of women building country houses in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire during the 19th century.
  • Our next members visit to the National Memorial Arboretum on Friday 24th April. Book now as only two places were left on the coach on 14th April.
  • A request for all members to let us have their feedback.
