The Lubenham Heritage Trail. Comprising a leaflet, central information board and plaques on selected buildings, it is designed to encourage residents and visitors to find out more about this attractive yet often underrated village. Its popularity has exceeded all expectations!

This year’s Lubenham Scarecrow Festival takes place on the weekend 7th & 8th September. The Heritage Group plans a small exhibition of photographs and other memorabilia as well as promoting our book, Lubenham – A Village History, copies of which will be on sale.
At last the long awaited book Lubenham – a Village History has been published. It documents how Lubenham has developed over the centuries and continues to evolve today by looking at the history and development of the village through the lives of ordinary people and the institutions, customs and traditions which affect them. In May, Members of the Group accompanied Years 5 and 6 from Lubenham All Saints Primary School on a tour of the village as part of the students’ study of Victorian Lubenham. We were very impressed with their preparation, knowledge and the intelligent questions they asked!
